As a Junior Inspector / Staff, you will assist in inspections and offer operational across various tasks. This includes:
Performing equipment checks under the guidance of our senior inspectors
Running time-sensitive errands
Assisting with field prep and drop-offs
ing the team with practical tasks and deliveries
Note: All cheque collection and bank deposits will be handled only by senior management.
You will not be exposed to sensitive client financials. All sealed materials (e.g., envelopes) will be prepared for added confidentiality before drop-offs. In some cases, you may be asked to assist with personal errands or deliveries that business continuity.
What You Need to Succeed
📜 Minimum Requirements:
Secondary School Education (CXC or equivalent)
Completion of a recognized Technical Diploma in Mechanical, Industrial, or related disciplines.
Certified in Heavy Equipment Operations or equivalent training demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of heavy machinery, tools, and plant operations.
Valid Driver’s License and Personal Vehicle
Good smartphone with clear camera + active 24/7 data (preferably Digicel)
Demonstrates sound practical judgment, manages time effectively, and communicates clearly
Basic familiarity with industrial equipment (training provided)
Fairness & Compliance
Applicants must be eligible to work in Guyana
Certificate of Character will be requested
Pre-engagement drug screening will be required
Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for candidates who are academically qualified and technically grounded, with a strong working knowledge of heavy equipment functions, plant tools, and industrial environments. While direct operation is not required, the ability to interpret equipment behavior, understand operational processes, and engage confidently in heavy equipment settings is essential.
